Review: 🇺🇸 UTZ “The Crab Chip”

I usually know when I like a chip and when I don't, but this is a weird one. I kept going back and forth while eating this bag, here are both sides. 🤔

Likes: I do like Old Bay seasoning - if you’ve never had it, it’s a seasoning mix of mostly paprika, salt, and peppers (black, crushed red) that is commonly paired with seafood. It’s not spicy spicy, I’d say the flavoring is more black pepper salty paprika, but it usually used quite generously. Or, sprinkled a bit on the top of deviled eggs. The seasoning worked well on the thin #UTZ chip. Dislikes: While I do like #OldBay, the flavoring of this chip might have been too strong. Not too much Old Bay per se, but more of a...strong fishy/crabby flavor that reallllly lingered even after I finished the bag. Also while the chip was thin, there wasn’t a great crunch. Opinion ratings (1-10): Crunch: 5.5 Texture: 5.3 Flavor: 4.9

Overall: 5.2 I did like the initial strongly spiced and salty flavor, but something about eating the whole bag resulted in diminishing returns of satisfaction. Towards the end I just kind of felt sick from the crab flavor...also what occasion do you eat these #chips? They’re so seafood-y that I can’t see it paired with anything but seafood, but then it’s TOO much seafood.
