Eh, I expected more from Hawaiian with these. It’s an excellent chip base as usual - if you haven’t tried Hawaiian Brand #chips, I definitely recommend them. I think they’re a great #kettlechip that are hard but crunchy with really nice texture variance. The Hulapeno (ha) flavor could’ve been...more though. More everything, it could’ve been more smoky, more spicy, even more vinegary if they decide to go the pickled jalapeno route instead of the grilled #jalapeno route. They went for the grilled jalapeno flavor, so it’s slightly smoky, but the flavor levels were too muted and too low to make these that good. Both the Tims Cascade and Kettle Brand jalapeno chips are better jalapeno options. - 📍Ralphs, Studio City So what’s going on with this chip?
