Did I get the right chip? According to the internet, most people really liked these. And while I always appreciate a holiday seasonal flavor, I thought these were just good / not great. The quality of the chip is average, it had a dullness that less-good #kettlechips have - which negatively affects both the crunch and texture. The flavor, again, while I appreciated the idea and execution for an accurate homage to turkey stuffing, was a little off-putting to me. I would say the flavor was fine though, but the overall composition of the chip was lacking. The yeasty flavor (to mimic turkey umami) was powdery too? Enough to very easily detect it on the chip itself when eating, like the onion/yeast/herb powder slips right off the chip as soon as it’s in your mouth.
Also stuffing sucks. It’s amongst my least favorite out of the #Thanksgiving meal sides, so maybe this review is skewed. I like celery, parsley, sage, and thyme, but not on a chip. These at least captured the dryness of stuffing! - 📍@traderjoes, Hollywood
