Why do I do this to myself? I could’ve picked a good Takis flavor, but instead went with the bright green #zombie novelty one. I say I usually don’t like novelty #chips but I sure fall prey to them quite a bit 😂
This snack isn’t bad though, it’s still the super satisfying #Takis chip base - a dense corn chip roll that’s crunchy and delicious. The flavor isn’t bad either, it’s just not my thing. It’s very lime-y (as if the bright green ✅ didn’t give that away) and actually spicy. I did appreciate how the tartness of the lime didn’t overwhelm the overall flavor unlike #LaysLimon, for example. You could still tell the flavor was a blend of other things - chili, mostly. I’d also say normally Takis have a mild kick, sure, but these do build up to a good spicy level. I’d say a 6/10 spice, not quite #FlamingHot but not that far. Usually sour flavored chips in the US are solely lime or salt and vinegar - this one is pretty unique in that the two primary flavors are lime and chili, and not salt. - 📍@TiendasOxxo, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
