First chip in #Spain is #Jamon Ruffles! Jamon is Spanish for āhamā, but these are definitely bacon flavored to me. Although bacon is still a ham thatās salt cured, so itās like calling a flavor of something āfruitā instead of āstrawberryā.
These have a good and relatively strong smoky bacon-y flavor. Very little meat taste, itās definitely more about the smoke and the cure flavors of bacon. And I actually liked the #Ruffles chip base more than the American version! Itās crispy, small ridged which results in a nice crunch, not too hard and not too shitty tasting. - šBarcelona, Spain
