@sabritas_official is @fritolay in México, and both their chips I’ve tried (the other one being #DoritosFlamas) are eerily similar to their US counterparts. Of course that’s not a bad thing, but one day I do want to try actual Sabritas chips in Mexico. ☺️
This chip is #Rancheritos, ranch flavored corn tortilla chips - basically Cool Ranch #Doritos. A few differences though, the shape is a rectangle strip around 3in, and the flavoring is a little smokier than #CoolRanch. If you’ve never had ranch flavored chips, it’s essentially the seasoning of ranch salad dressing minus the cream - it tastes tangy and is spiced with powders of garlic, onion, mustard, paprika, pepper, and herbs (usually chives, parsley, and/or dill). The texture is very similar to all US Doritos, and it’s probably because of familiarity, but I slightly prefer the triangle shape more. The chip is still good though, nice crunch, good thickness (not too thin or thick, very close to Doritos thickness but slightly thicker), and yummy flavor. For the longest time I was sleeping on Cool Ranch Doritos because I love Nacho Cheese so much. I still prefer Nacho Cheese, which was reaffirmed by this chip, but maybe it’s not one over the other. It’s just what you’re feeling that day. #deep
