I have a medium spice tolerance, and these were S.P.I.C.Y. 🔥🔥🔥I made it past 4 #chips, then had to take a break to pant like a dog, then went back in for 4 more before putting these down for good. These actually had a great chip composition, a wider chip than normal, and for some reason, better than the last #Paquichip I’ve tried, Cool Salsa Verde. The flavor totally did the #ghostpepperjustice - spicy, smoky, fragrant, and a fuller bodied pepper flavor since it was supported by cayenne and chipotle. But these are a novelty chip, right? Who actually enjoys consuming something this #spicy?
Either way, respect to Paqui for creating a chip worthy of the ghost pepper name and branding, but these are not something I’d reach for ever again unless I’m feeling particularly masochistic. For a comparison, if #FlamingHot was an 8.5 in spiciness, these are a 9. These are on the cusp of inedible after a certain point, but are still not what I would describe as inedible since I was able to go back in for more. The pain from the spiciness did fade relatively quickly. - 📍Gas station store, Hollywood
