Review: 🇺🇸Luke’s Organic Sour Cream & Onion

Ok Luke’s, I see what you’re doing. You create the most refined packaged potato chip ever with high quality ingredients. If you didn’t position yourself as a natural food brand (FYI, they’re #organic, non-gmo, #glutenfree, kosher), you could easily easily be a luxury potato chip at fancy markets like fancy wine and cheese shops, or @deandeluca. This chip is so high quality and well made.

The stand out feature for this chip is the #potatoes actually have potato texture. I’ve had #chips before with more potato flavor, and these still had potato flavor, just slightly less. The TEXTURE though straight up tastes like if a chef in Europe made you fancy chips - they’re not overly fried, have a smooth and natural potato texture, and has some “give” to it, kind of like a very very thin French fry. The sour cream & onion is not overdone at all either, it’s a good blend of tangy and herby and complements the thickness and naturalness of the potato chip base really well. And of course, and you can expect, the sour cream is super high quality, as is the onion powder. Nothing about this snack makes you feel like this is junk food, which is...weird but good haha. Still not the biggest sc&onion fan since I rarely reach for them, but these are definitely done quite well. I prefer a heftier chip for sc&o flavor too, so I would’ve liked a kettle chip more. - 📍Thank you SO much to @lukes_organicfor sending me these! You can find them on @amazon or @thrivemarket.

So what’s going on with this chip? Here are its highly scientific stats: Saltiness: LOW-MEDIUM Flavor level: LOW-MEDIUM Thickness: THIN

Opinion ratings (1-10): Crunch: 8.0 Texture: 9.5 Flavor: 8.5

Overall: 8.7

REVIEW: 🇺🇸Trader Joe’s Veggie Chips

Weird how ‘salt’ is listed as an ingredient for these, because they were not salty at. All. Which is a shame, because these are...
