REVIEW: 🇺🇸Luke’s Organic Sour Cream & Cheddar

Luke’s moniker of snack like a kid, live like a grown up rings true with their Sour Cream & Cheddar #kettlechips. As much as I love (and as close to perfection) the flavor of Ruffles Sour Cream & Cheddar is, I’m not the biggest fan of the Ruffle chip base. They don’t have the best crunch for me, and like most junky chips, #Ruffles do kind of make me feel a little like crap after I’m done with them. I’ve never experienced any of that with Luke’s though, even when I eat more. This one is no exception!

The base is their excellent kettle chip, with their high quality cheddar and sour cream seasoning. The flavor is more cheesy and less tangy compared to the Ruffles version, but you can still taste the sour cream and the complimentary tang of both. It definitely hit the spot flavor-wise! The chip itself was still an amazing quality - great potato with even some potato flavor coming through, and avocado oil <3. But I did feel like this batch of chips was a bit too thin. I know, I know, this is from someone who loves flimy Lays, but similar to #Lays, I think a chip this thin shouldn’t hold too strong of flavor. This one isn’t that thin by any means, just thin compared to other kettle chips, but the flavor is great and I think deserved a slightly heftier chip base. - 📍Thank you SO much to @lukes_organic for sending me these! You can find them on @amazon or @thrivemarket.

So what’s going on with this chip? Here are its highly scientific stats: Saltiness: MEDIUM Flavor level: MEDIUM Thickness: THIN-MEDIUM

Opinion ratings (1-10): Crunch: 7.4 Texture: 7.7 Flavor: 8.9

Overall: 8.1
