A nice and flavorful light snack from #Taiwan! This is definitely one of those #snacks you can eat the entire bag of without even knowing what happened or being weighed down. The base is a pretty interesting chip/cracker hybrid made of a mix of corn, potato, and flour, resulting in a light and airy texture. I haven’t had anything similar in the US, and it’s good! The crunch is quite nice since the base is so fine and the snack is thin, so it skirts the line of being flimsy while still having a satisfying crispy crunch.
The flavor I’d say is mostly #umamichicken + cup noodle/MSG. There might also be some slight cheese flavor, but all the flavors are pretty subtle. No one flavor really sticks out, and nothing is overwhelming. It’s weird though, even though you don’t see a lot of seasoning nor does it hit you over the head, this #snack is not bland. Pretty satisfying overall and well composed (and #kawaii ♠️♣️♥️♦️!), but I don’t see myself picking this one often unless I’m in the mood for a lighter snack. - 📍 @99ranchmarket, Irvine California
