REVIEW: 🇨🇳Lay’s Lime Flavor

Updated: Sep 20, 2019

Breaking up the #chips from Spain, since these are in stock NOW at @WorldSnackin! These are from China, and have a surprisingly thicker and kettle chip-eque chip base. It’s surprising since I was expecting the classic thin Lay’s, or the softer/chewier but still thin Lay’s. These are pretty similar to a Kettle Brand chip base - hard but crunchy, fun air bubbles, textured chip. The lime flavor is only a little tart, but warning: this chip is mostly sweet. I can see how it’s totally off-putting if you didn’t expect it, but I thought the sweetness was kind of nice - it reminds me of many Asian flavors. Like you know how sugar is added to stir fry, or there’s a sweetness to orange chicken? It’s that kind of yummy. If you’re reading this, you’re looking at a picture of chips on Instagram. And if you’re like me, you’re curious as to how they are because how. Else. Would. You. Know?? You can order these and other snacks to try on World Snackin! - 📍@WorldSnackin So what’s going on with this chip? Here are its highly scientific stats: Saltiness: LOW-MEDIUM Flavor level: MEDIUM Thickness: THICK

Opinion ratings (1-10): Crunch: 8.7 Texture: 8.5 Flavor: 7.8

Overall: 8.1
