I know not everyone is like this, but I definitely prefer the sour cream and onion flavor with a heftier, more rustic chip. Basically only with a kettle cooked chip 😂 Something about the flavor combination doesn’t quite lend well with a more refined chip, and these fall prey to why that is. The flavor is solid though, and indeed STRONG, aka medium for my salty dead American palette. Good sour cream flavor, good green onion flavor and nice little herb specs. The texture and chip combination is where this lost me though, it has the typical Asian chip texture - softer. The crunch wasn’t what I prefer (if something is #deepfried, it should be crispy!) but the chip still broke well due to the small ridges. The ridges also didn’t trap too much flavor powder, which is always appreciated. - 📍Nijiya Market, West LA
