Review: 🇺🇸 IWON Organics Spicy Sweet Pepper Stix

Ok, backstory time. I started this account because I eat chips almost every day and wanted to document it. My husband likes to eat later so I needed a snack to make it to a late dinner without passing out (I’m being dramatic ha) 😜 . I love sweets but can’t snack on sugary things on an empty stomach because I’ll get a headache, so after some trial and error (Nuts, blah! Leftovers, blah!) I started eating #chips A LOT. The reason why I’m telling this story now is because I know in theory, protein snacks are supposed to fill you up without eating as much. I’ve tried a few #proteinsnacks though, and never really got that UNTIL NOW with @iwonorganics! I think this is what the #iwonfeeling is! That, plus feeling good about the #snack ingredients you just consumed + supporting a company with a cause. These are #Spicy Sweet Pepper Stix, and we’ve definitely come a long way when #healthysnacks were plain brown rice cakes - because these pack FLAVOR. The snack is actually quite spicy, IWON was not shy with the cayenne. The flavor background is not one-note either, they have a base blended spices that prop up to the spiciness. The stix themselves are a protein blend, which doesn’t really mean anything to me unless I can taste it. I could taste a slight slight hint of peas, but that’s pretty much it. The rest of it is just together in a stick that was slightly dense (didn’t fall apart, which is a plus), and crunchy. I’m generally not a very active or healthy person, but if you hike and work out and want to eat healthier snacks, this is a solid and flavorful choice. Compared to actual junk food though, there’s definitely a difference - but sometimes we gotta be adults and choose #healthier options. When that happens, it’s good to know there are flavorful ones out there! - 📍Thank you SO much IWON Organics for sending me these! Weird how ‘salt’ is listed as an ingredient for these, because they were not salty at. All. Which is a shame, because these are...
