I love a good pun. This is the IncrediPuff by @thesnackbrigade, SAUCILIAN pizza flavor. Laugh track! Jokes aside though, this is a yummy snack. Pizza is not a flavor I see around often, I’ve had pizza versions of Pringles and Combos but it’s not really one I really think about. It’s kind of like, oh that’s fun, but isn’t real pizza almost just as accessible and therefore usually the better choice? That being said, I do appreciate this snack’s well crafted marinara and cheese flavoring. The marinara tastes herby and concentrated. You can definitely taste tomato (not fresh tomato, definitely more like tomato sauce/paste), and a good strong mix of dried pizza spices like basil and oregano. The cheese flavor is in the background though, and I’d say the primary flavor is the marinara sauce. Puffs also don’t need to be that salty, I thought their salt level was appropriate - I didn’t think it needed more or less.
The puff itself was great again. I’m pretty convinced now that baked puffs are just as good, if not better than fried. You know how baked chips is definitely it’s own thing but not really a comparison to fried chips? I actually don’t think frying puffs makes them any better. This puff is not too thicc, maybe ¾” in diameter and seem longer at ~3” than junk food puffs, but it’s only because they’re straighter. - 📍Thank you so much to @thesnackbrigade for sending these to me! I wouldn’t even say choose this snack if you want to make a healthier snacking choice. I’d say choose this snack if you want a good pizza flavored puff (for me, that’s not too often). They really do a good job of making a snack that doesn’t lead with this-is-healthier-therefore-you-should-sacrifice-flavor-and-satisfaction.
I love the texture. Practically dissolves in your mouth. When I first started buying them Many months ago They were bursting with flavor. Totally delicious. Now for the last three or four months the flavor has deteriorated. Kind of bland now. Please bring back the delicious flavor they used to be. Sincerely Pamela D.
