Review: 🇺🇸Funyuns Flamin’ Hot

I ♥️ these. These were what I think immediately when I say what my favorite #FlamingHot is. These, and the FH Fritos, but these are actually better upon this recent tasting! It's the PERFECT airy, crunchy, puffed corn “onion ring” with a bit of background onion taste - which is an amazing compliment with the Flaming Hot seasoning. The #Funyun really is unparalleled - its puffed perfectly and composed so well, and I really don’t see how a #snack onion ring can be better. Such a satisfying crunch and texture. Every now and then though, you do get a ring that isn’t as airy, and those are definitely not as good crunch or texture wise (it doesn’t happen often though, maybe 10% of the time). The Flaming Hot flavor is an iconic American #junkfood @fritolayseasoning on several of their chips - most loved is #Cheetos but they also have #Lays, #Ruffles, #Doritos, #Fritos, and of course, Funyuns. The Flaming Hot flavor is a slightly tangy, slightly tart, high 🔥, bright red, spicy seasoning, but the application on all these varieties do differ due to the chip base. I have an average medium spice tolerance, and the Cheetos and Doritos versions are too spicy for me to finish the bag. These though! I CAN (and did, of course) finish the bag since the surface of the Funyun is less solid/dense and doesn’t trap as much Flaming Hot seasoning - adding to this snack’s high score. 💕 - 📍Hollywood, California
