What a fun little snack - it shows you’re ready for action with the slim vertical bag you can hold and pour in your mouth all with one hand. Except I ate it on the couch playing video games but...you COULD do other stuff while eating these.
My first thought was it’s curious that they chose #Doritos to brand these with. Probably because Doritos are triangle shape (although I’m pretty sure they made these ~4/5in. triangles in product development after their marketing team said to make them @Doritos), more popular, and the fan base is more open to 🔥INTENSE FLAVOR🔥. I thought they were closer to Fritos but with no ground corn. The chip texture was close to #Fritos, slightly more dense, but not very similar to Doritos other than the slight corn chip flavor. Which was, of course, masked by the high level of Fiery Habanero flavor anyway. The flavor was yummy, spicy - they captured the nose kind of spicy of #habanero well - slightly slightly tart. It wasn’t too spicy at first, but definitely built up as you eat more. I ate 3/4 of the bag before I was starting to feel too numb. - 📍Liquor Time Liquor, West Hollywood
So what’s going on with this chip? Here are its highly scientific stats:
Saltiness: HIGH
Flavor level: HIGH
Thickness: MEDIUM-THICK
Opinion ratings (1-10):
Crunch: 7.2
Texture: 7.5
Flavor: 8.2
Overall: 7.7
A fun snack overall, I’d try it if you’re the #MountainDew kind of person (you’ll know what I mean if you are). But even if you’re not, they are fun little flavor blasted snacks that are easily eaten on the go. I’m just not sure I’d pick if often when confronted with other options, I think @takisusa are still a better everyday flavor-bomb, or the classic Doritos or #Cheetos as normal cheese chip snacks.
