Eh I had higher hopes for these since I enjoyed the plain salted Dirty Chips, but these are a little off for me. The chip itself has a great crunch, but there’s something a bit too...smooth with the texture? Like the chip had a bit of the previously-pulverized-mashed-into-a-single chip feel to is (like #Pringles). Which is weird because that’s definitely not what happened, these are kettle cooked #chips. The jalapeño flavor was just ok. It had a decent amount of heat, but I felt like the jalapeño pepper flavor was lacking, as was the smokiness that’s usually accompanies jalapeño so well. It was almost like spice only, and barely any pepper flavor. If you have the option, go for the #Kettlebrand jalapeño chips instead - those are similar but a better version of these. - 📍@gelsons, Studio City So what’s going on with this chip?
