✈️ Chipalytics Travels!
In Chipalytics fashion, first chip review in #Mexico has to be a plain potato chip. I went to Mexico last year too and tried a few chips then, but didn’t really like them so I didn’t think I’d love any of the #chips this trip either. But luckily I was wrong, at least with this one 🥰🥰 From what I could tell on the bag, this is just a potato chip flavored with sea salt. But the flavor is so much more, it tastes more potato-y and slightly spiced with faint hints of chili (not spicy, just a bit of seasoning). Something enhances the potato flavor to make them more potato flavored, different than any other potato chip I’ve had. I’d describe it like if you’re cooking and you need concentrated chicken flavor so you use a #bouillon cube, but this is like a bouillon cube of concentrated potato flavor instead. The chip texture/crunch was also interesting, it was thin but with a hard fry (which makes potatoes more see through) like kettle chips. Usually #kettlechips in America are hard fried and thicker, these are hard fried but thinner. And I like it!!📍Random convenience store, San Jose del Cabo, Mexico
