Chipalytics #tbt with another absolute classic, and by throwback Thursday I mean a chip any salty snack lover in the US should know and love. Cheetos are unique in that the original is 100% better than any variation (including Flaming Hot, come at me) or imitation. The perfect amount of crunch is hard to achieve with a cheese puff, but Cheetos sets the bar. The flavor is their iconic and distinct mix of cheese, slight tang, and saltiness level, and they achieve the perfect balance for that flavor on the equally perfect puff/chip hybrid carrier.
Very few chips are an experience, but Cheetos is one.
Tip: Don’t like cheesy fingers? Try eating Cheetos with chopsticks. Second Tip: Cheetos are by far best when freshly opened. This is not a chip I would get a party bag size of for the next day, I would instead get a multipack of small bags. - 📍Found: Literally everywhere that sells chips. As far as cheese puffs go, Cheetos are the best. My personal opinion is Cheetos is a delicious chip/snack, but a couple of things knock it down from a perfect rating. Overall bag satisfaction is around a 9.8, but the 9.6 is slightly lower and only close to perfect because of the variation in Cheeto shapes and flavor distribution. The thinner and longer Cheetos with a good amount of orange is a 10.0, but a big uneven puff where you can see the lightness of the puff is a 8.0.
