Review: 🇺🇸 365 Onion Rings

365 is the Whole Foods brand and has some of my favorite store-brand products (FYI, their ketchup, white english muffins, and “Oreos” are all great). However I always go into these brands with skepticism for snacks since they’re private labeled and marketed as healthier options, but I can happily report their version of Funyuns is excellent! Some days I might even prefer these over Funyuns 😜

Compared to their famous counterparts, these 365 brand onion rings are ~30% smaller, about 1.5 inches in diameter. The flavoring is less strong, less MSG-y, and less artificial tasting, but still has a good and slightly creamy onion flavoring. They’re also not a suspiciously bright yellow, they’re a more muted pale yellow-white. The crunch is where I was the most impressed though! While the flavor is on the more mild and natural side, the crunch is just as good as any bad-for-you snack. The ring is crispy, airy with lots of fun air bubbles, and breaks like a dream. - 📍Found: Whole Foods, West Hollywood - So what’s going on with this chip? Here are its highly scientific stats: Saltiness: MEDIUM Flavor level: MEDIUM Thickness: MEDIUM PUFF

Opinion ratings (1-10): Crunch: 9.3 Texture: 8.4 Flavor: 8.0

Overall: 8.5 Not to worry friends, Whole Foods has some good munchie options! These are a great pick and while they do taste less artificial than their famous counterparts, they’re not bland, extremely satisfying, and snack attack worthy. The smaller size also makes eating a million a fun event.
